About the Organisation
Presidency University, Bengaluru was established in 2013 by the Presidency Group of Institutions and is a NAAC ‘A’ accredited multidisciplinary university offering programmes across Engineering, AI & Advanced Computing, Management, Law, Design, Media Studies, Commerce, Sciences, Liberal Arts, and Allied Health Sciences.
Presidency School of Law (PSOL), established in 2015, is approved by the Bar Council of India and offers five-year integrated UG programmes (B.A. LL.B. Hons. and B.B.A. LL.B. Karnataka Institute for Law and Parliamentary Reforms (KILPAR), established in 2005 under the Karnataka Dept. of Law, Justice, and Human Rights, focuses on law/parliamentary reforms with the Chief Minister as President of its Governing Council. It has published 85 research books and conducted 300+ seminars.

One-Day Regional Conference on “Protecting the Rights of Senior Citizens: Contemporary Challenges and Perspectives” — focusing on contemporary legal, policy, and governance perspectives on elder rights amid India’s growing ageing population, addressing gaps in implementation of laws like the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007.

Abstract:
- 250–300 words
- Include: title, author name(s), institutional affiliation, email, 3–5 keywords
- Should state research objective, methodology, key findings, conclusion
- Format: MS Word (.doc/.docx)
Full Paper:
- 4,000–6,000 words (including footnotes)
- Citation Style: Bluebook (21st Edition)
- Font: Times New Roman; Size 12 (main text), Size 10 (footnotes)
- Line spacing: 1.5
- Structure: Abstract, keywords, introduction, main text, conclusion, references
- Format: MS Word (.doc/.docx)
Submission Guidelines
- Must be original and unpublished (not submitted/published elsewhere)
- Must align with the main theme or notified sub-themes
- Selected peer-reviewed papers considered for publication in Conference Proceedings with ISBN
