ICFAI Law School, Hyderabad is a constituent of the ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (IFHE), a deemed-to-be University established under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956. The institution is recognized by the Bar Council of India and offers integrated undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, and certificate programs in law. About The Seminar/Conference

The Centre of Excellence in Intellectual Property Rights, ICFAI Law School, Hyderabad is organizing a two-day National Conference on “Intellectual Property and Sustainable Development: Towards a Better Future” on 23rd–24th April 2026.

The conference aims to provide a platform for interdisciplinary dialogue on the role of intellectual property in advancing sustainable development goals (SDGs), focusing on issues such as access to medicines, green technology, biodiversity protection, and inclusive innovation ecosystems.

About Call For Papers

The conference invites original and unpublished research papers from participants on contemporary issues at the intersection of intellectual property law and sustainable development. Selected papers will be published in an edited volume with an ISBN, and outstanding papers will be awarded cash prizes.

Eligibility

Students, research scholars, academicians, professionals, and practitioners in law or any relevant interdisciplinary field are eligible to participate.

Formatting Guidelines

  • Font: Times New Roman
  • Font Size: 12
  • Line Spacing: 1.5
  • Footnotes: Bluebook 20th Edition, font size 10, single spacing
  • Margins: 1 inch on all sides

Submission Guidelines

  • Abstract: 300–500 words with keywords
  • Full Paper: 3000–5000 words (excluding footnotes)
  • Plagiarism: Less than 10%
  • Co-authorship: Maximum of 2 authors
  • Author details must be included with submission

Registration Fees

  • Academicians / Professionals / Practitioners: ₹1500
  • Students / Research Scholars: ₹1000

Note: Fee includes seminar kit, lunch, and high tea.
