About 2-day Certificate Legal Workshop by IDIA
IDIA is a pan-India movement to train underprivileged students and help transform them into leading lawyers and community advocates. IDIA is premised on the notion that access to premier legal education empowers marginalized communities and helps them help themselves. IDIA selects and trains students from underprivileged backgrounds (IDIA Trainees) to crack top law entrance examinations in India. Once they are admitted to top law colleges, it provides a scholarship to these students (IDIA Scholars) that comprises financial support, training and mentorship among other things.

About 2-day Certificate Legal Workshop by IDIA-NUJS
As part of our fundraising program, the IDIA Chapter of West Bengal, comprised of student volunteers from NUJS, Kolkata is organising a two-day Certificate Legal Workshop on 29th and 30th January, 2022. The workshop will comprise 7 sessions, which will provide students with an opportunity to improve their skills in various fundamental law-school activities.
Schedule
Day 1: 29th January, 2022 (Saturday)
- Session on Mooting Skills: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
- Session on Debating Skills : 1:15 PM -2:15 PM

- Session on Research and Writing Skills: 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Day 2: 30th January, 2022 (Sunday)
- Session on CV Writing: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
- Session on ADR : 1:15 PM – 2:15 PM

- Session on Careers after Law School: 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM
- Session on Mental Health : 4:15 PM – 5:15PM

The full workshop, including all seven sessions, is open to all for a minimum contribution of Rs 500 only!
