About the College

The Central Law College was founded by Prof. R.V. Dhanapalan in the year 1984. The College is recognised by the Bar Council of India, New Delhi and is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr Ambedkar Law University.

About the Competition

The Central Law College is organising its 1st inter-collegiate law fest CLC LEXCELLENCE 2026 on 28.02.2026.

CLC-LEXCELLENCE will comprise a diverse array of competitions, which are designed to deepen the legal knowledge of the law students. We believe this law fest will foster spontaneity, critical thinking, creativity, and an understanding of contemporary legal issues.

  • Judgement Writing
  • Debate
  • Short Film
  • Painting
  • Face Painting
  • Quiz

Eligibility

Participation is restricted only to bona fide undergraduate students of 5 years/ 3 years Law programme of any University/College/Institution (recognised by the Bar Council of India).

Awards and Certificates

  • Participation certificates will be provided to all participants.
  • Individual prizes: Trophies and Certificates for Winner, Runner-up, and Second Runner-up for all the events.
  • Overall Championship: Overall Champion Trophy, Runner-up Trophy and Second Runner-up Trophy.

Points Allocation

  • Participation Points: 50 points per event
  • Bonus Points (Prize Winners)
    • First Prize: +300 points.
    • Second Prize: +200 points.
    • Third Prize: +100 points.

Registration Fees

NO REGISTRATION FEES FOR PROVISIONAL REGISTRATION

For participating team

  • Individual Events: ₹150 per event.
  • Individual Painting Competition: ₹ 300 per participant.
  • Team Events (2 members): ₹ 300 per team.
  • Team Events (3-5 members): ₹ 750 per team

Important Dates

  • Provisional Registration Deadline: 31/01/2026
  • Final Registration Invite: On or before 05/02/2026
  • Deadline for Final Registration: 10/02/2026
  • Event Date: 28.02.2026
