The CHRIST Law Alumni Association (CLAA) actively promotes professional networking, mentorship, and engagement between alumni and students.

About the Competition

The School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Delhi NCR Campus, in collaboration with the CHRIST Law Alumni Association (CLAA), is organizing the 1st CHRIST Law Alumni International Moot Court Competition, 2026. The competition aims to provide law students with a platform to enhance their legal research, memorial drafting, and advocacy skills through a simulated courtroom experience. It also encourages interaction between students, legal professionals, and alumni while promoting academic excellence and mooting culture at an international level.

Theme

The moot proposition shall revolve around a complex real-world legal scenario involving contemporary legal issues. The detailed moot proposition will be released separately by the organizers.

Eligibility

The competition is open to law students enrolled in recognized undergraduate or postgraduate law programmes from universities and institutions across India and abroad.

Registration Fee

Indian Students:

  • Online Rounds – ₹3,500
  • Advanced Rounds – ₹3,500

International Students:

  •  Online Rounds – USD 50
  •  Advanced Rounds – USD 80

Prizes

  • Winner: ₹1,00,000 Cash Prize + Trophy
  • Runner-Up: ₹50,000 Cash Prize + Trophy
  • Best Speaker: ₹15,000 Cash Prize + Trophy
  • Best Researcher: ₹15,000 Cash Prize +  Trophy
  • Best Memorial: ₹15,000 Cash Prize + Trophy

Certificates of Participation shall be awarded to all participants. TDS shall be applicable on all prizes.

  • Declaration of Octa-Final Results – 06 August 2026
  • Researcher’s Test, Quarter-Finals & Semi-Finals – 21 August 2026 (Offline)
  • Finals & Valedictory Ceremony – 22 August 2026 (Offline)

  • Preliminary Rounds: 03–04 August 2026 (Online)
  • Advanced Rounds: 21–22 August 2026 (Offline)
