About PES Modern Law college

Progressive Education Society established in the year 1934 under the guidance of Late Guruvarya Shankarraoji Kanitkar. The Progressive Education Society’s, Modern Law College, is one of the premier legal educational institute in Maharashtra situated close to the “Oxford of the East”, Savitribai Phule Pune University. Established in 2003, Modern Law College, has carved a niche for itself. The College is permanently affiliated to the Savitribai Phule Pune University, recognised by the Bar Council of India, & U/S 2(f) 12 (B) of UGC Act, 1956 and accredited ‘B++’ by NAAC Bengaluru. The College stands as one of the best law colleges in Pune having recognized Research Centre for Ph.D. All the courses of the college are approved by university, which include Degree programs LL.B. (3 years) & B.A. LL.B (5 years.), B.B.A. LL.B (5 years.), Masters in Laws (LL.M.) and various Diploma programs and Certificate programs.
