About the Organisers

Organised by Manipal University Jaipur (Faculty of Law) in association with Ranka Public Charitable Trust. MUJ is a multidisciplinary university established in 2011 and the Faculty of Law is ranked 32nd in NIRF 2025 (Law). The Trust, established in 1980 by Late Dr. N. M. Ranka, promotes legal education, Gandhian philosophy, scholarships and moot court competitions.

12th Manipal Ranka International Moot Court Competition 2026. Preliminary Rounds (Online): 2 October 2026. Advanced Rounds (Offline/In-person): 31 October – 1 November 2026.

Eligibility

  • Open to bona fide students enrolled in a regular three-year or five-year LL.B. or LL.M. programme at institutions recognised by the Bar Council of India.
  • Only one team per recognised university, law school, or college may participate.
  • Each team must consist of two or three members.

Location

Manipal University Jaipur, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.

Preliminary Rounds: Online.

Advanced Rounds: Offline (In-person).

Registration / Submission Procedure

  • Registration opens: July 29, 2026
  • Registration closes: September 23, 2026
  • Participants must register online through the official link provided by the organisers in the brochure.

Formal registration is complete only after payment of the registration fee and submission of memorials.

Fee Details

Indian Teams:

  • Registration Fee: INR 5,000
  • Accommodation Fee (Qualified Teams): INR 5,000 (Food & Accommodation)

International Teams:

  • Registration Fee: USD 50
  • Accommodation Fee (Qualified Teams): USD 50

Registration fee is non-refundable.

  • Runner-up: Trophy, Certificate & INR 25,000
  • Best Speaker: Trophy, Certificate & INR 10,000
  • Best Memorial: Trophy, Certificate & INR 10,000
