Faculty of Law, Manipal University Jaipur is hosting its flagship event-11 th Manipal Ranka International Moot Court Competition-2025 in association with Ranka Public Charitable Trust from October 31, 2025 to November 2, 2025.

About the Competition

The purpose of 11th Manipal Ranka International Moot Court Competition-2025 is to create an environment that closely mirrors the dynamics of real court proceedings. The previous editions of the Manipal Ranka International Moot Court Competition witnessed tremendous success driven by zeal and competitive spirit amongst the participants all over the nation and around the world, which was appreciated by the judges and the participants alike. Manipal University Jaipur is now all set to achieve a new benchmark in its 11th Manipal Ranka International Moot Court Competition in 2025.

Eligibility

  • The Competition is open to all students enrolled bona fide on a regular basis in an undergraduate law course.
  • A recognised institution shall be entitled to send only one team to the competition.
  • Any additional member or team coach accompanying a team will not be entitled to a certificate.
  • The students from different Universities/institutes are not allowed to form an Inter-College Team.

Team Composition

Each team shall comprise of three (3) members ONLY i.e. Two (2) speakers and one (1) researcher. The role of the participants shall remain the same throughout the competition.

Registration Process

The Registration process shall be as follows:

  • The Registration form completed with all team details must be submitted online only.
  • Once the registration is done Teams will get the confirmation email. Team Codes will be intimated later.
  • Participation of the teams in the 11th Manipal Ranka International Moot Court Competition – 2025 is subject to the acceptance/selection of the memorial and payment of the full registration fee mentioned herewith. For this purpose, the team will be deemed to have been “formally registered” only upon the payment of the full registration fee.
  • The registration fee for Indian participants is INR 8000, payable in two parts. A non-refundable sum of INR 2000 is payable at the time of filing the registration form. The remaining sum of INR 6000 (inclusive of food and accommodation) is payable after the communication of acceptance of the memorial by the Competition Organisation Committee.
  • The participation fee for international participants is USD 100, payable in two parts. A non-refundable sum of USD 30 is payable at the time of filing the registration form. The remaining sum of USD 70 is payable after the communication of acceptance of the memorial by the Competition Organisation Committee.
  • The amount paid as registration fee shall be non-refundable. No claim for a refund of the fee shall be entertained, and no such request or application will be considered.
