IMS Unison University, Dehradun is a constituent of the Unison Group and a prominent educational and research institution. Originally established in 1996 as IMS Dehradun, it has grown into a hub for excellence in teaching, learning, and research, offering career-oriented education that nurtures intellectual, moral, and physical capabilities.The School of Law of IMS Unison University, Dehradun (SoL) is one of Northern India’s rapidly emerging law schools. It adopts an interdisciplinary curriculum combining law, social sciences, humanities, and management studies, fostering both conceptual understanding and practical skills.

About the Opportunity

Rashtraniti 2026 is the 11th edition of the IUU Youth Parliament Competition, organised by the Youth Parliament Society, School of Law, IMS Unison University, Dehradun. It is a dynamic parliamentary simulation forum where young minds deliberate on pressing national and global issues, engage in informed debate, critical analysis, and collaborative problem-solving.

The event provides a platform for both first-time and experienced delegates to sharpen skills in advocacy, negotiation, public speaking, and policymaking.

Theme

राष्ट्रनीति (Rashtraniti) — meaning “National Policy” or “Statecraft”. The overarching theme is grounded in the belief that national interest must always prevail over political maneuvering, and that true progress is achieved through inclusive, collective-good-driven policies.

THE MAGIC OF LAMHE: This edition coincides with the grand annual cultural fest, where musical nights, DJ sets, and star-studded celebrity nights await all participants.

Eligibility

The Competition is open to students from different academic fields of any recognized Educational & Academic Institution across India.

  • No restriction on year of study or stream.
  • Participants may use bilingual language (English/Hindi) during their speech.
  • Dress code: Indian Traditional or Western Formal attire.
