About IMS Unison University, Dehradun
IMS Unison University (IUU), Dehradun is a constituent of the Unison Education Foundation and was established in 1996 as the Institute of Management Studies.
The School of Law (SoL) stands as one of Northern India’s rapidly growing law schools, committed to delivering exceptional legal education with an interdisciplinary approach. It emphasizes the convergence of law with social science, humanities, and management studies within its curriculum, ensuring a blend of theoretical depth and practical applicability.
About the Competition
Greetings from the Moot Court Society, School of Law, IMS Unison University, Dehradun.
It is with immense pride that we present the 11th Edition of the National Moot Court Competition, scheduled from September 19th – 21st, 2024. This eminent competition, hosted by the Moot Court Society, is dedicated to showcasing and celebrating the legal acumen of promising young talents and offering them a distinguished platform to hone their professional skills.
Eligibility
The competition is open for Students pursuing three/five years L.L.B Degree Courses from a recognized law college/ University in India, subject to fulfilment of the registration formalities. The participants are inclusive of L.L.M. students as well.
Dress Composition: Inside the court room, the participants shall be in formal.
- Female(s): White salwar and kurta/White Shirt, Black Trouser & Black Tie along with Black Blazer and Black Shoes
- Male(s): White Shirt, Black Trousers & Black Tie along with Black Blazer and Black Shoes.
Official Language
The official language of the Moot Court Competition is English.
Team Composition
Each team shall consist of a maximum of three members (Two mooters and one researcher). All participants are mandatorily required to carry their University/ College ID cards during the competition.

Offline: At the premises of the School of Law, IMS UNISON UNIVERSITY, DEHRADUN
Prizes
Exciting prizes worth up to INR 1 Lakh are available in this competition, including:
- Winner- INR 21,000/-
- Runners Up – INR 12,000/-
- Best Mooter – INR 4,000/-
- Best Researcher – INR 4,000/-
- Best Memorial (Petitioner) – INR 3,000/-
- Best Memorial (Respondent) – INR 3,000/-

- Last date of submission of soft copy of memorials: 15th September 2024

- Inaugural, Draw of Lots, Exchange of Memorials: 19th September, 2024
- Researcher Test and Preliminary Rounds: 19th September, 2024
- Quarter Finals and Semifinals: 20th September, 2024
- Final Round and Valedictory Ceremony: 21st September, 2024

Step1: Each team is required to fill the details in Google Form for the purpose of registration
Step 2: Each team is required to send a scanned copy of the NEFT/IMPS/UPI transaction details to e-mail ID- [email protected] by September 8, 2024. The subject of the mail should be “Registration for IMS UNISON UNIVERSITY 11” National Moot Court Competition 2024.
