About the Organisation
1884 is the landmark year as the foundation stone was laid 140 years ago for Shri Vaishnav Group of Institutions by compassionate cloth merchants of Vaishnav cult of Indore, which was later rechristened as Shri Vaishnav Sahayak Kapada Market Committee in the year 1934.
Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Trust believes in taking the nation forward by improving the quality of life of its citizens by continuously working in the sphere of education, health and environment. It has been established to promote education and research in various disciplines through academic institutions for the benefits of all sections of the society, but not with the motive of profit.
About the Opportunity
In continuation of its legacy, Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya, Indore, is honored to announce the 10th edition of its Moot, the SVVV Moot Court Competition, 2025, which will be held in collaboration with the Manupatra as Media Partner, Lawbhoomi as Academic Partner and Knowledge Steez as Knowledge Partner.
The moot is scheduled to take place from 30th-31 th October and on 1st November in an ONLINE MODE and on 5th December, the final round in an OFFLINE MODE at Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya campus, INDORE.
This competition has earned its reputation as India’s premier law moot over several years. Esteemed judges such as Indore High Court Judge (Retd.) R.K Verma, Gujarat High Court Judge (Retd.) B.N. Karia, Public Prosecutor Shushila Rathore, ADPO Kostubh Pathak, Atulya Saraf and Senior High Court Advocate Aman Singh Rathore among others, have graced previous editions. The competition attracts the brightest legal minds from law schools across the country, with over 40 teams participating in the last edition.
Eligibility
1.The Competition is open to students currently enrolled in LL.B. Degree Courses (3 year/5 year) .
2.A team is not permitted to have members from more than one institution.
3.No more than two team may represent an institution.
Team Composition
Teams of 2 (speakers) or 3 (2 speakers and 1 researcher) are welcome to register. Kindly fill out the Registration Form mentioned at the end of this post to register for this Competition.
Registration Fee
The registration fee for the Moot Court Competition comprising not more than 3 members is INR 3,000.
Prize Pool
- Winning Team Award: The winning team will receive a trophy and cash prize of INR 21,000. One free Manupatra Academy Course of Choice for the winning team for each Participants. Team will be awarded access to a total of premium Law Bhoomi course worth upto Rs. 9000 (one course for per student)
- Runners-Up Team Award: The runners-up team will receive cash prize of INR 11,000. A 75% discount on any one Manupatra Academy Course for the runner-up team. Team will be awarded access to a total of premium Law Bhoomi course worth upto Rs. 9000 (one course for per student)
- Best Mooter: The Best Mooter will receive cash prize of INR 3,000
- Best Memorial: The Best Memeorial will receive a cash prize of INR 3,000.
- Best Researcher: The Best Researcher will receive a cash prize of INR 3,000.
Participants
1. All the Participants will get the Certificate of Participation.
2. Additionally, all the participants can avail 15% discount on Manupatra Academy Courses.

Registrations close on 20th October, 2025.
