About the University

Unity Post Graduate College, Lucknow, established under the aegis of Lucknow University, was the first institution in the city to introduce a five-year integrated law program. Guided by its founder, Justice Murtaza Hussain, the college is dedicated to making legal education a catalyst for social, political, and economic change. It offers both five-year integrated and three-year law courses under a semester system, producing graduates who are now established advocates and judges.

Beyond academics, the college emphasizes holistic development through national-level seminars, debates, and moot court competitions that hone advocacy skills. About 10th National Moot Court Competition

The purpose of the Moot Court Competition is to give exposure to students pursuing an LL.B Degree Course to hone their advocacy skills and to provide a real litigation experience in doing cutting-edge research, presenting persuasive and cohesive arguments, and contributing to the development of jurisprudence in concerned areas of law.

The Unity Moot Court Committee is the institution’s student committee entrusted with fostering, administering, and facilitating mooting activities and upholding the benchmark of excellence that Unity P.G. College has set for itself. The Committee has been successfully organising moot court competitions year after year. They are proud to announce the Tenth edition of JUSTICE MURTAZA HUSAIN MEMORIAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION organised by the Unity Moot Court Committee from 28th – 30th November 2025.

Eligibility

  • Individuals currently enrolled in any institution/university/college pursuing either the 3-year LL.B or the 5-year integrated LL.B. program at the time of the Competition shall be eligible to participate in the Competition.
  • Teams must register by 23:59 hrs on 10th November 2025 by filling
  • out the Google form and after making of the payment.
  • There is a maximum cap of 30 teams and it is totally based on a first-come first-served basis.

Fee

The registration fee for each team shall be as follows:

  • INR 3000/- (without accommodation)
  • INR 6000/- (with accommodation)
