Veredictus 2024-2025, Navrachana University’s Law Fest [Cash Prizes Worth Rs 1L, Hybrid Mode]: Register by Dec 21
Navrachana University, Vadodara is a Private University established under the Gujarat Private University Act, 2009. The university has five schools with more than 22 programs. The University has been accredited with a grade ‘A’ by NAAC in the year 2023.
The School of Business and Law is the largest one out of five schools at Navrachana and has BBA, MBA and BBA LLB programs under it along with the MBA-Executive and LLM programs. The Law program was established in 2014 and the Law Fest is organized as a part of the celebration of achieving an important milestone of completing a decade.
About Verdictus 2024-2025
Verdictus is the 1st Law Fest organized by the School of Business and Law with an aim to nurture legal intellect amongst budding professionals. Verdictus provides a dynamic platform to student participants to engage in rigorous intellectual debates and to test their capabilities of overcoming complex legal challenges.
The Law Fest consists of 3 competitions namely-
- Moot Court Competition
- Client Counselling Competition
- Debate Competition
Eligibility
Students from 5 5-year integrated Law programs and 3 3-year LLB programs from all the recognized universities, and institutions are eligible to participate. Teams are allowed to take part in ANY or ALL of the THREE competitions. Rules can be further checked from the brochure.
Mode
The Law Fest shall be conducted in a Hybrid mode. The details are-
- Preliminary round- 3rd and 4th January 2025 (ONLINE)
- Semi-final & Final round: 21st-22nd February 2024 (Offline)

- Winner 21,000/-, Trophy & certificate
- Runner-up: 12,000/-, Trophy & certificate
- Best Mooter: 4500/- Trophy & certificate
- Best memorial 4500/- Trophy & certificate
Client Counselling Competition
- First prize: 15,000/-, Trophy & certificate
- Second prize: 10,000/-, Trophy & certificate
- Best speaker: 4500/-, Medal and Certificate
Debate Competition
- First prize: 15,000, Trophy & certificate
- Second prize: 10,000/-, Trophy and Certificate
- Best speaker: 4500/-, Medal and Certificate
