Valedictory Session of 10th Prof (Dr) VS Mani Memorial International Law Moot Court Competition Conducted by Jaipur National University, Jaipur

The 2nd day of the 10th  Professor V. S. Mani Memorial International Law Moot Court Competition conducted bySeedling School of Law and Governance, Jaipur National University was conducted with great enthusiasm and zeal on 15th March, 2024.

The event had around 30 teams participating from Pan India, including many National Law Universities and reputed private universities. The students from various universities like Gujarat National University, Gandhinagar, Symbiosis University (Nagpur and Pune), National Forensic Science University, UPES Dehradun, Raffles University, Trinity Institute of Professional Studies, New Delhi etc presented appropriate arguments on the given subject keeping pros and cons.

The greatest gift that a person can provide to the coming generation is to pass on the unique knowledge and experience that he or she has accrued in a life of learning. Prof (Dr) Satish C Shashtri, Director of Seedling School of Law and Governance, Jaipur National University, advised and guided the students to build their careers in litigation and judicial services. He believed that this competition provides its students with a valuable opportunity to hone both their written and oral advocacy skills in this competitive field. 

Of the 26 teams, 8 teams reached the quarterfinals and they battled their wits and logic reasoning to win and reach the semi-finals. Marwardi University, KLE University, Bengaluru, Trinity Institute of Professional Studies, New Delhi and JIMSEMTC reached the semi-finals.

Hon’ble Justice Anil Kumar Sinha, Former Judge of Supreme Court of Nepal, Hon’ble Justice R.S. Rathore of Rajasthan High Court, Hon’ble Justice NK Jain,  Former Chairperson, Rajasthan State Human Rights Commission and Former Chief Justice of Karnataka and Madras High Court and Professor S. Sivakumar, Sr. Professor of Indian Law Institute, New Delhi, Member of Law Commission of India and President of the Commonwealth Legal Education Association will be adjudging the final round and will also be the Guests at the Valedictory Session on 16th March, 2024 (Saturday).
