About the Opportunity
The competition will replicate the Trademark Opposition procedure as followed by the Indian Trademark Registry. Participants will be presented with a hypothetical case involving two similar marks in dispute. They will be required to draft essential documents, including the Notice of Opposition & Counterstatement and evidences and later argue their cases through oral rounds.
Theme
The Competition comprises two stages, i.e. written submissions and oral arguments. The oral arguments will be conducted in person at GLC, Mumbai on the 4th and 5th of April, 2025. The Competition will be conducted in the English language.
Eligibility
The Competition is open to teams of students from Law Schools across the country (All the law students of 3 yr course and 5 yr course). An LL.M. student already holding a law degree therefore may not enter the Competition. Team members must be matriculated in a full- or part- time program as stated above in the School they represent. Teams must consist of 2 members from the same institution. Proof of current enrollment of each team member of the School must be included with each team’s entry form.

The Teams are required to fill the Provisional Registration Form by 25th January 2025.
