About the Opportunity

They are excited to announce the launch of our symposium event under the G-20 University Connect Program for the year 2023. The theme for this year’s course is “Exploring New Frontiers in Women’s Health and Well-Being: Taking Forward G20 Perspective.” This symposium aims to bring together experts, industry leaders, professors, and enthusiastic students to discuss and deliberate on various aspects of women’s health. Designatory from Government bodies and ministries are invited as Guests of Honor for this event. 

Symposium Theme and Topics

The symposium revolves around the theme of “Empowering Women: Transforming Health and Well-being,” focusing on key topics such as

  • Maternal and reproductive health,
  • Women’s Health & Law,
  • Mental health and well-being,
  • Gender-based violence,
  • Sexual and reproductive rights,
  • Health systems and policies.

By addressing these critical issues, the symposium aims to contribute to positive changes in women’s lives and promote gender equality.

Target Audience

The symposium is open to academicians, entrepreneurs, researchers, students, industry professionals, and Anyone interested in women’s health and well-being-related issues.

Abstract Submission

  • Submit a 200-300 words abstract via email to [email protected] no later than 30th July 2023. It should provide an overview of the proposed paper.
  • The paper should make a substantial contribution to comparative law scholarship and
  • align with the symposium’s theme.
  • It may include advancing new knowledge, connecting unrelated facts, critiquing existing law, or proposing reforms.

Paper Submission Deadline

Authors selected by the organizing committee must submit their abstract by 5th October 2023 and paper presentation will take place on 11th August 2023. Time & Slot for

paper presentation will be notified and presenter will be required to join and present accordingly.

Guidelines For Paper Submission

Paper Format Guidelines

  • Each paper should be between 5,000 and 7,000 words, including headings.
  • Follow proper formatting with footnotes and citations (endnotes are not allowed).
  • Use MS Word format with Times New Roman font on A4 size paper.
  • Maintain 1″ margins on all sides, font size 12, and line spacing of 1.5.
  • Indian contributors should follow ILI Rules of Footnoting, while foreign nationals can use a suitable mode of footnoting from their research community, However, Footnoting
  • standards will be standardized upon selection for publication.
  • All abstracts will be published in the symposium proceedings with an ISBN number.
  • Selected papers will be published in an edited book (with ISBN) after the symposium.

Publication Opportunities

  • All abstracts will be published in the symposium proceedings with an ISBN number.

  • The editors will have final discretion in selecting papers for publication.
  • Further details regarding the publication process will be provided in due course.

Pre-condition

Authors are encouraged to focus on a comparative study between India and any other jurisdiction related to the G20 Theme.

Acceptance Notification

The organizing committee will communicate the acceptance of the abstract by 5th August 2023. and would be final.

Attendance

Participants must attend the symposium on 11th August to receive a participation e-certificate.

Mode of Organization

The Symposium will be conducted in a hybrid mode, allowing both physical and virtual participation.
