About the Organisation

Established in January 2006, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, nestled in Lucknow, unfolds as a cultural oasis within its expansive 42-acre campus. Seamlessly connected to vital transportation hubs and historical landmarks, the university boasts contemporary amenities, including an Olympic-sized swimming pool, a 3500-capacity auditorium, sports facilities, and two gymnasiums.

Committed to advancing legal education, it serves as the host for esteemed international events, exemplified by the recent FDI International Arbitration Moot. About Riwaayat

Once upon a time, in the heart of the Nawabi city of Lucknow, a winsome tale began to unfold—one of passion, culture, creativity and art. This February, the tale continues, as the gates to Riwaayat 7.0, our annual cultural fest, open wide to welcome you to a world straight out of a story book.

Tehzeeb, the Cultural Committee of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow, is delighted to extend an official invitation to your esteemed institution to join us from 13th to 16th February 2025 for Riwaayat 7.0—a celebration like no other, here dreamers and creators come together to revel in the beauty of life in all its colors.

With over 2000+ attendees, 600k+ views across social media, and participants from premier institutions like IITs, NLUs, and DU, Riwaayat has become the most awaited and celebrated fest in the law school circuit. In the past editions, celebrated artists such as Rahul Dua, Anubhav Singh Bassi, Saadho Band, Nishant Suri, Kabir Cafe, Vipul Goyal, DJ Carnivore, and more have left the audience enchanted.

Beyond the spotlight, Riwaayat, a true beacon of cultural and literary brilliance, unfolds an enchanting array of experiences, including a soulful Qawwali Night, an electrifying Celeb Night, an exhilarating DJ Night, and a host of engaging events. As the fest cements among top law-school circuits, immerse yourself in diverse cuisines, vibrant artistic expressions, and the unmistakable spirit of celebration. Riwaayat promises not only to captivate but also to create memories that resonate long after the fest ends.

Eligibility

Eligibility for participation in Riwaayat extends to students hailing from any recognized university. It aims to create a platform that transcends institutional boundaries, inviting students to engage and contribute to the fest’s vibrant tapestry of events and expressions.

Theme

Riwaayat, guided by this year’s enchanting theme, “Daastan-e-Lucknow” we’ve designed a world where dreams reigns reality. As you enter our grand fiesta, you’ll find yourself waltzing through meadows of talent and creativity. From the mesmerizing dance competitions to thrilling quizzes, the spellbinding singing contest, the timeless elegance of our fashion show, and so much more—Riwaayat truly offers a stage to compete, perform, and connect in ways you’ve never imagined.

Registration Fee

• Without Accommodation- Registration Fee: ₹800
• With Accommodation Inside Campus- Registration Fee: ₹2400 Includes a day’s stay at campus accommodation with breakfast.
• With Accommodation Outside Campus (Semi-luxury Hotel)- Registration Fee: ₹4000 Includes a four-day stay at a Semi-Luxury hotel with breakfast.
• Multiple event registrations are allowed, i.e., no extra fees are required if a participant participates in more than one event. In addition to this Multiple teams can also participate from one college. However, registration/information prior to the last date is mandatory.
• After the payment of this fee, the participant shall be provided access to the entire event, including participation in multiple competitions and access to the Celeb and Qawwali Nights.
