Rajani Associates Advises Beaufond Industries Limited on Resolution Plan for Kobo Biotech Limited

Rajani Associates advised Beaufond Industries Limited, the Successful Resolution Applicant, in relation to the resolution plan of Kobo Biotech Limited, a company listed on BSE.

The resolution plan, valued at approximately INR 700 million, was submitted to the Committee of Creditors on March 4, 2026, approved by the Committee of Creditors on March 17, 2026, and subsequently approved by the National Company Law Tribunal on May 11, 2026.

As part of the resolution process, Rajani Associates advised on the resolution plan and the composite scheme of amalgamation and arrangement. The approved resolution plan provides for the merger of Beaufond Industries Limited with Kobo Biotech Limited, the demerger of the API business into a separate entity, and the renaming of the surviving company as Beaufond Ltd.
