PSUs hiring based on CLAT LLM Exam 2022 Result

There are several benefits of taking the CLAT LLM exam. Apart from getting a seat n the country’s top law schools, the NLUs, it can help you to get into several of the top public sector undertakings (PSUs).

However, there are even more reasons to take CLAT PG 2021 if you are a 3-year or 5-year LLB graduate. It’s because CLAT is used by several of the top public sector undertakings (PSUs) to recruit students.

What is a PSU?

PSU or a Public Sector Undertaking as the term indicates is a public sector enterprise (or organisation) which is owned by the Union Government or either a state or a territorial government or both. The majority share of a PSU (51 percent or more) is held by the Union Government or by a State Government or partly by the central government and partly by one or more State Governments. PSUs have their own recruitment process for recruiting technical and non-technical employees.

  2. Candidates must clear the CLAT PG exam; candidates who have passed the CLAT PG exam in prior years may not be considered for selection.
  3. When applying for a PSU, a student must obtain the required minimum marks in CLAT PG: 55 percent for General/OBC; 50 percent for SC/ST.
  4. An applicant may also be required to score 60 percent or higher in order to be considered for specific PSUs. It differs from one PSU to the other.
  5. When it comes to applying to a PSU, the age limit differs from PSU to PSU.
