About the Organisation
The Department of Law, Prestige Institute of Management & Research, Gwalior, is an autonomous NAAC Grade ‘A’ institute affiliated with Jiwaji University and approved by the Bar Council of India. Established in 1997, PIMR is a premier institution recognized for its academic excellence, offering integrated law programs such as B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), B.Com. LL.B. (Hons.), and BBA LL.B. (Hons.), as well as LL.M. The department has a strong national character with a diverse student body and faculty drawn from reputed national law universities.
About the Opportunity
The Prestige National Arbitration Competition 2025 – “The Pathway of Resolution” is designed to simulate real-world arbitration proceedings. It offers students a platform to showcase advocacy and drafting skills while deepening their understanding of arbitration. The competition will be held in two phases — Online Rounds (7–8 November 2025) and In-Campus Rounds (21–22 November 2025) at PIMR, Gwalior.
Theme
“The Pathway of Resolution” – Encouraging future lawyers to explore the mechanisms of alternative dispute resolution, focusing on arbitration as a tool for resolving complex legal disputes.
Eligibility
The competition is open to students enrolled in 3-year or 5-year law programs from recognized universities and institutions across India.
Registration Fee
- ₹4000 per team (for participation)
- ₹3500 per team (for Accommodation and Food, Payable Separately)
Prizes
- Winner: ₹25,000 + Trophy + Certificate of Merit
- Runners-Up: ₹15,000 + Trophy + Certificate of Merit
- Best Draft: ₹10,000 + Trophy + Certificate of Merit
- Best Presenter: ₹10,000 + Trophy + Certificate of Merit
- All participants will receive certificates of participation.

- Preliminary Rounds: 20th November 2025
- Quarter-Finals & Semi-Finals: 21st November 2025
- Final Round: 22nd November 2025
- Registration Deadline: 15th November 2025
- Draft Submission: 17th November 2025
