The Public Policy Research Committee (PPRC) is a student-run organization that focuses on research, policy drafting, and critical analysis of existing policies. The committee strives to provide law students with a comprehensive platform to learn about public policy research and drafting, while offering hands on experience in these critical areas. By raising awareness of pressing public policy issues in India, the PPRC seeks to connect students with key policy stakeholders, fostering a deeper understanding of the socio-political landscape.
About the Workshop
The Public Policy and Research Committee of School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Delhi NCR Campus is organizing a Policy Workshop & Drafting Competition on the theme “Digital Content Creation and Digital India initiative” to provide students of various disciplines with a platform to explore public policy, research, and drafting. The event aims to address the critical aspects of India’s digital transformation, including data privacy, cybersecurity, and regulation of digital content. The objective of workshop and competition include fostering creativity and inclusivity in digital content creation, protecting intellectual property, and promoting mentorship and collaboration opportunities.
Eligibility
- Teams may consist of a maximum of 2 members- 1 (single authorship) or 2 (co-authorship).
- The competition is open to all students from a recognized college or University.
- The event is open to both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) students.
- A team may consist of students from the same or different departments within the same institution. Multiple teams from the same institution can apply.
Theme
“Digital Content Creation and Digital India initiative”
Structure of the Competition
- STAGE 1: Participants are required to register and submit their policy document within the prescribed timeframe.
- STAGE 2: Participants will attend the workshop followed by the feedback session and improve on their policies, and submit the final document on the specified date.
- STAGE 3: Participants will make the presentations at the Delhi NCR Campus. The presentation should include their revised policy as well as oral presentation.
Perks
- Winner: Rs. 10,000 + Certificate of Merit.
- Runner Up: Rs. 5,000 + Certificate of Merit.
- Certificate of Participation will be awarded to all participants.

- Opening of Registrations and Release of Problem Statement- 6 January, 2025
- Last date for registrations- Early Bird: 28 February, 2025 (Standard: 12 March, 2025)
- Last date to seek clarification- 10 March, 2025
- Last date to submit policy document (Stage I)- 14 March, 2025
- Inaugural & Workshop (Hybrid mode) + Online Feedback Session- 18 March, 2025
- Last Date to submit the final policy document (Stage II)- 23 March, 2025
- Final Presentation & Valedictory-25 March, 2025
