About the Webinar

The rising popularity of Augmented Reality resulted in multinational organisations like Meta (previously Facebook) and Disney investing in an avant-garde way of living while discussions on its association with privacy and security, especially in Southern Asia remain marginal.

This topic remains significant, given the recent discussions on the Data Protection Bill in India and how the country responds to the acceleration of Augmented Reality.

The Centre for Specialisation in Cyber Law Studies seeks to impart education with regard to this topic amongst students across the nation whilst encouraging fruitful discussions on the same.

Resource Persons

• Ms Aparna Gaur – She is a lawyer and member of the TMT, and IP Practice Group at Nishith Desai Associates based out of Mumbai.
• Ms Dhrumi Gada – She is an Advocate, graduated from Government Law College, Mumbai and has a double gold medal in her master’s from Mumbai University.
• Mr Pankaj Dhotre – He is an Ex-Police officer who has served Mumbai Police in the cyber
  cell and crime branch.
