About The National Law Fest
3rd National Law Fest is a hybrid event that offers a wide range of legal activities to advance law students’ clinical abilities and practical knowledge. This series of events is being carried out at the university for the third time. The entire idea behind this event was to promote “for the students, by the students, from the students” culture.
About the Competition
Crime Scene Investigation competition assesses students’ ability to perform procedures related to crime scene investigation and identify suspects. It enhances understanding of crime investigation by examining physical evidence and employing reasoning and logical skills. The competition is interdisciplinary, involving tasks such as identifying, reporting, sketching, photographing, and using observational skills. Its objectives include increasing knowledge of crime investigation through the examination of evidence and the application of logic and reasoning.
Theme of the competition
- The theme of the competition will be set around a criminal activity conducted in a
- naturalistic setting where students have to identify what happened and how it happened.
Eligibility
- The Competition is open to bona fide undergraduate students of recognized Colleges/Institutions/Universities who are currently pursuing their Bachelor’s Degree in Law i.e. 3 years LLB or 5-year Integrated or Honors’ LL.B Program with all combinations on a regular basis.
- A maximum of two teams from one law college can participate but no student must be repeated.
