About the Opportunity
It is with great pride and enthusiasm that NALSAR present to you the National Conclave on Insolvency and Bankruptcy Laws 2025, organized by the LL.M.-I.B.L. (Batch of 2024-26) students of NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA), Delhi.
The student-driven initiative is aimed to create, convey and provide a multi-disciplinary platform for legal professionals, academicians, researchers, and industry stakeholders to discuss and engage in insightful discussions on the developing landscape of Insolvency and Bankruptcy Laws

Dates: 12th-13th April,2025 (Saturday-Sunday)
Call for Papers
It invites students, legal professionals, academicians, and industry stakeholders to submit original and unpublished research papers under various themes including :
- Evolution of Debt Recovery Laws in India
- Corporate Insolvency & Liquidation Process
- Cross-Border Insolvency
- Personal Insolvency & Guarantor Liabilities
- Banking & Financial Institution Insolvency
- Corporate Governance in Insolvency Laws
- (Kindly refer to the attached document for list of subthemes)
The themes mentioned in the document are only suggestive and not exhaustive. Authors are at their discretion to choose any of the sub-theme for their paper that corresponds to the principal agenda of the Conclave. Co-Authorship is allowed for upto two authors.
Submission Guidelines
- An abstract of 300-400 words outlining the central theme of the paper with not more than 5 keywords.
- The papers should be between 3000-5000 words inclusive of the footnotes.
- The font style is to be Times New Roman font size 12 for the main text and font size 10 for the footnotes.
- The line spacing of the main text of the paper to be 1.5 and line spacing of words between footnotes to be 1.
- The alignment to be justified
- ILI mode of citation to be followed.
- Submission of abstract through the google form in MS Word format:
Registration Details
- Students/Researcher- Rs 1500
- Academicians, Legal Professionals and Industry Stakeholders- Rs 3000
- (For co-authorship each author to be charged separately at the same rate as the individual author)
- The respective author(s) after the selection of abstract would receive a google form to register for the presentation at the Conclave via email.
- The registration fees to be paid only after the selection of the abstracts which would be communicated to the authors via email.
- The selected papers will be presented at the Conclave and the best paper and presenter awards along with cash prize. The top 5 submissions will be entitled to a certificate of Merit.

- Last Date for Intimation of Selected Abstracts: 18th March,2025, 11:59 P.M. IST
- Last Date for Registration and Payment of Fee: 22nd March,2025,11:59 P.M IST
- Last Date for Paper Submission: 6th April,2025, 11:59 P.M. IST
- Conclave : 12th and 13th April, 2025( Hybrid)
