School of Law, Sathyabama Institute of Science & Technology offers modern, interdisciplinary legal education focused on practical skills and academic excellence. Supported by experienced faculty, judges, and practitioners, it emphasizes research, social justice, and professional growth. The curriculum combines core legal subjects with electives, preparing students for diverse legal careers.

Eligibility

  • Each team must consist of 2 law students.
  • Participants must be enrolled in a three-year or five-year law course at a recognized institution.

Registration

  • No registration fee.
  • Registration is mandatory for participation.
  • Last date to register: 15 March 2026.

Compeition Format

  • Mode of competition is offline
  • Teams will receive a case scenario and a dummy client in every round.
  • Participants must understand the client’s problem, identify legal issues, explain relevant laws clearly and suggest suitable legal remedies professionally
  • Time limits must be strictly followed.
  • The last 5–10 minutes of each round will be for judges’ questions and clarifications.

General Themes

  • Property disputes
  • Family disputes
  • Personal laws
  • Crimes against women and children,
  • Defamation
  • Fraud
  • Forgery
  • Banking fraud.

Code of Conduct

  • The official language of the competition shall be english.
  • Dress code: White formal shirt + black pants (white kurti/black salwar permitted).
  • No phones or electronic devices during the competition. (Bare acts are permitted)
  • Report 30 minutes before your scheduled time.
  • Any misconduct may lead to disqualification.
  • Judges decision will be final and binding.

  • Winner – Trophy and Certificate of Merit
  • Runner-up – Trophy and Certificate of Merit
  • Best Performer – Trophy and Certificate of Merit
  • All Participants – Participation Certificates

  • 15th March 2026 – Last date for registration
  • 17th March 2026 – Last date for Clarification
  • 21st March 2026 – Day of the Competition
