About HPNLU
The Himachal Pradesh National Law University (HPNLU), Shimla, was established by the State Government in 2016 through Act 16 of 2016 and began functioning on October 5, 2016. Admissions to its Undergraduate programmes—B.A.LL.B. and B.B.A.LL.B. (Five-Year Integrated Courses)—and its one-year LL.M. Postgraduate programme are conducted through the Common Law Admission Test.

About the Centre for Tribal and Cultural Studies
CTCS works to foster research, dialogue, advocacy and capacity-building on tribal rights and cultural preservation.

Originality
The article must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.
Authorship
- Participation may be individual or in co-authorship with up to two authors.
- Each participant/team may submit only one article.
- The competition is open to all, and the article must be submitted virtually in English.

1200–1500 words, excluding footnotes, title, and bibliography.

Organising Committee
- The organising committee reserves the right to interpret, modify, or enforce these guidelines.
- In case of any dispute or ambiguity, the decision of CTCS, HPNLU and the organising committee shall be final and binding.
- Submission of an article shall be deemed to constitute acceptance of these guidelines.
Prize Pool
- ₹11,000 – 1st Prize + Certificate of Excellence
- ₹7,000 – 2nd Prize + Certificate of Excellence
- ₹5,000 – 3rd Prize + Certificate of Excellence

Registration fee (non-refundable) for each participant:
- Single Authorship: ₹350
- Co-Authorship (Maximum of Two Authors): ₹500
