About the Opportunity
The School of Law, Woxsen University is organising the LEX PAX Mediation Competition 2.0, a national virtual mediation competition aimed at providing law students with a platform to develop and demonstrate their skills in mediation, negotiation, communication, and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).
The competition is organised in collaboration with IAMC Hyderabad and IIDRC, with KFCRI as the Knowledge Partner.
The competition will be conducted virtually on 9th–10th October 2026 and is open to bona fide law students pursuing 3-year or 5-year law programmes from institutions recognised by the Bar Council of India.
The competition is limited to 30 teams, with each team comprising 1 Mediator and 1 Client-Counsel Pair.

Eligibility
- Participants must be bona fide law students.
- Students pursuing either a 3-year or 5-year law degree are eligible to participate.
- Participants must be enrolled in institutions recognised by the Bar Council of India (BCI).
- Each team shall consist of 3 members:
- 1 Mediator
- 1 Client-Counsel Pair
- A maximum of 2 teams per institution may register.
- Participation is limited to 30 teams.
Registration Fee
The registration fee is ₹3,000 per team.
Prizes
The competition offers the following prizes:
- Best Negotiating Pair: ₹25,000
- Runner-Up Negotiating Pair: ₹12,500
- Best Mediator: ₹6,000
- Runner-Up Mediator: ₹3,000
- Best Mediator (Prelims): ₹2,500
In addition to the cash prizes, internship opportunities with IAMC Hyderabad, KFCRI, and IIDRC will be offered to eligible participants.
