Himachal Pradesh National Law University

2. INFRASTRUCTURE OF THE COLLGE:

As they say “ROME WAS NOT BUILT IN A DAY”.

It is an indisputable fact that HPNLU is a nascent university. It was established in the year 2016. Construction of the university campus had started a year ago, earlier all the classes were scheduled at the Himachal Pradesh Judicial Academy. At present there is an academic block, administrative block, library, reading hall in the newly constructed university.

3. LOCATION:

Ghandal, Shimla (Himachal Pradesh).

4. FACULTY AND ACADEMICS AT UNIVERSITY:

The faculty and academics at this university are what one can say remarkable. Every member of the faculty is assiduous and diligent. Professors at HPNLU are not only concerned about a student’s academics but his overall development as well. Overall a congenial environment persists with respect to academics.

6. STUDENT CULTURE AND ACTIVITIES:

Competitions such as slogan writing, poetry competition, story writing competition, essay writing competition, debate competition, parliamentary debate competition, client counselling competition, moot-court competition, are organized. The university also has certain days reserved for the cultural fest, dandiya nights, sports fest, freshers, as well as new year parties.

7. PLACEMENTS:

The first batch of university will pass in the year 2021. However, there is an internship and placement committee which undertakes all important tasks related to internships and placements.

8. GOOD THINGS:

The university has excellent academics and faculty. Also, it has several research centres such as Centre for comparative public law, Centre for environment and disaster management, Centre for law, business, and economics, Centre for human right, Centre for criminology forensic Science and centre for advocacy court management and judgement.

9. BAD THINGS:

The university being at its nascent stage lacks a bit on the infrastructural front.
