About The Opportunity

The KJMCC-2025 is dedicated to nurturing and honing the skills of young legal minds in the areas of legal research and courtroom advocacy. This competition serves as a premier platform to bring together the brightest and most innovative law students from across the country to showcase their advocacy and research talents. Participants will be evaluated by an esteemed panel of distinguished judges, lawyers, and legal experts.

Theme

This year’s moot court proposition has been carefully crafted to challenge students in the dynamic and emerging field of Criminal Law. We believe this will provide a rigorous and enriching experience for all participants.

Eligibility

Students enrolled in full-time 3-year LLB or 5-year LLB programs at a university, college and institutions that have been approved by the Bar Council of India are eligible to register in this competition. More than one team from one institution/university cannot register for the competition

Registration Fee

The Final registration, along with the fee of ₹ 4000/- which shall be completed on or before 10th March 2025.

  • Winner-Trophy + Cash Prize of Rs. 35,000/-
  • Runners-Up- Trophy + Cash Prize of Rs. 25,000/-
  • Best Speaker Trophy + Cash Prize of Rs. 15,000/-
  • Best Researcher- Trophy + Cash Prize of Rs. 10,000/-
  • Best Memorial- Trophy + Cash Prize of Rs. 10,000/-
  • All Participating Teams- Certificate of Participation

  • Interested teams must register for the Competition by filling out the online Registration Form. The Registration form can be accessed here.
  • While filling out the online Registration Form, the teams must choose a primary point of contact. All communications concerning the Competition will be sent from the official email ID to the primary contact person.
  • The payment shall be made using the payment QR Code available in the registration form. The teams are required to submit scanned copies of the following documents at the time of registration:
  • A bonafide letter of authorization from the relevant accredited institution allowing the team to participate in the competition.
  • Receipt of the online payment.
