The Centre for Excellence in Corporate & Commercial Laws (CfECCL) at ICFAI Law School, IFHE Hyderabad is a student-driven research centre dedicated to promoting scholarship, innovation, and policy dialogue in the domains of corporate and commercial law. The Centre engages in high-quality academic initiatives including publications, conferences, and collaborative projects to foster interdisciplinary learning.

ICFAI Law School, a constituent of the ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (Deemed-to-be University), Hyderabad, is a leading legal institution emphasizing research, ethics, and experiential learning in legal education.

About the Journal

The IUP Law Review is a double peer-reviewed quarterly journal published under IUP Publications (a division of the ICFAI Society). It covers diverse areas of management, finance, economics, law, and social sciences. The journal operates with editorial support from the Faculty of Law, IFHE Hyderabad, and is indexed in Cabell’s Directory and digitally available through EBSCO/ProQuest databases.

The Editorial Board includes eminent academicians from India and abroad, with Prof. (Dr.) P. Ravisekhara Raju, Director, ICFAI Law School, IFHE Hyderabad, serving as the Editor-in-Chief.

About the Call for Papers

The IUP Law Review, in collaboration with The Centre for Excellence in Corporate & Commercial Laws (CfECCL), invites original and unpublished manuscripts for its Special Issue on “Antitrust and Taxation Laws.”

This Special Issue aims to encourage scholarly research and analytical writing on evolving challenges, policy developments, and judicial trends in antitrust and taxation frameworks, both in India and globally.

Eligibility

Submissions are invited from:

• Academicians and researchers
• Legal practitioners and professionals
• Doctoral and postgraduate students
• Undergraduate law students

1. Taxation Laws

• Corporate Taxation in the Digital Economy
• Tax Incentives, Investment, and Corporate Accountability
• Transfer Pricing and Intra-Group Transactions
• Indirect Taxation and Market Structure: The GST Lens
• Taxation, CSR, and ESG Compliance

2. Antitrust and Competition Law

• Competition in the Digital Economy: Algorithms, Data, and Dominance
• Mergers, Market Concentration, and National Interest
• Cross-Border Cartels and Common Ownership Structures
• Corporate Governance and Market Power
• Competition Policy and Sustainability

Submission Categories

1. Research Papers: 5,000–8,000 words (including footnotes)
2. Short Articles: 3,000–5,000 words (including footnotes)
3. Research Notes: 2,000–3,000 words (including footnotes)

All manuscripts must be accompanied by an abstract of 250–300 words and 5–8 keywords.

• Font: Times New Roman | Size: 12 (Text), 10 (Footnotes)
• Spacing: 1.5 (Main text), Single (Footnotes)
• Citation: IUP Publications Format
• File Type: Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx)

Submission Guidelines

• Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.
• Plagiarism must not exceed 10% and AI similarity index must be ≤15%.
• A Turnitin report (for both plagiarism and AI) must accompany the submission.
• All entries will undergo a double-blind peer review.
• Co-authorship is permitted for up to two authors.
• Copyright shall vest exclusively with IUP Publications (A Division of the ICFAI Society).
