About the Centre for Clinical Legal Education

The Centre for Clinical Legal Education was established in 2017 at MNLU Mumbai with the aim to discharge its social responsibility with zeal for institutionalizing the mission of social justice. The lack of awareness about rights and remedies in Law has led to massive manipulation and a steady growth of crimes.

The Centre for Clinical Legal Education aims to tackle issues that people face in different realms of life by educating them about laws and making an impact. The university has therefore established the Centre for Clinical Legal Education in order to facilitate advanced learning of law and its incorporation into society.

One of its impeccable initiatives was the POCSO awareness program for children in Shelter homes. Further, CCLE in association with the Rotary Club of Navi Mumbai also provides Legal Aid Camps. ‘Right to Know Day’ was also celebrated in association with PCGT to educate individuals and create awareness about RTI.

Eligibility

2nd-year students and above will be preferred

Role and Responsibilities

• Research Assistant:
  • Visit non-governmental organisation, jails and other site visits
  • Prepare reports, maintain records,
  • Work on data collectection,
  • Work in the field of Women & Child Rights.
• Design Assistant:
  • Record and Edit videos at sites and otherwise
  • Use Canva or other designing applications
  • Data representation in graphic format
  • Basic Graphic Designing

Location

MNLU Campus, Mumbai. Should be willing to travel (in Mumbai)
