About the Internship

IndiaQuotient is seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Legal Intern. This role is designed for fresh law graduates who are eager to aid in ESG initiatives and contribute to their legal and financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Aid and Assist the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives for the firm, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals.
• Conduct thorough research on various legal and financial topics to support our operations and decision-making processes.
• Aid in Drafting, amending, and reviewing various contracts and other investment-related documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, effectively bridging legal and financial aspects to support the firm’s objectives.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.
• Communicate effectively with senior leaders, external partners, and internal staff, showcasing excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Eligibility

• Fresh law graduate with a solid understanding of legal principles and relevant laws.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Proficiency in legal research and drafting.
• Comfortable working with MS Word and Excel.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a close-knit team environment.
• Ability to think critically and creatively to tackle complex legal and financial challenges.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
