About the Internship
Delhi State Legal Services Authority (DSLSA) is offering an opportunity for law students to witness and have experience of working with this Authority which is working tirelessly towards achieving“Access to Justice for all”. DSLSA invites online applications for the Winter Internship Program –2023- 24 from law students of various Law Universities/Colleges in India.
Eligibility
Law students pursuing years Course and Three Years Courses are eligible to apply for this program.
Skills Required
Efficiency in written Communication (English), Legal writing, Basic legal knowledge, computer operation in Word/Excel/PPT.

- Special Courts dealing with cases under Section 138 N.I.Act
- Observation Homes for Juveniles.
- Mental Health Institution (IHBAS)

- Labour Courts & Tribunals including Armed Forces Tribunal, Debt
- Recovery Tribunal, MCD Appellate Tribunal, Consumer Forums etc.

- (Civil &Crminal Sides) District Courts
- LokAdalats
- Tihar&Rohini Jails
- Special Juvenile Police Unit, Delhi Police.

- All the DLSAs for Door to Door Campaign, (submission of online questionnaire filled during the door to door visit.
Internship Certificate at the successful completion of the internship subject to submission of Project Report on the topic provided during the Internship & also to submit brief/write up (3-4 pages) on any of the topics dealt with during the Internship.

Minimum 75% attendance is must for the Internship

| 1st December 2023 | Students can apply for Winter Internship online through the website www.dslsa.org from 10:00 AM onwards |
| 14th December 2023 (5:00 PM) | Deadline for submitting applications with a scanned copy of the Identity Card, passport size photo, and a recommendation letter from the principal/HOD of Law Department. Applications without the required documents will not be considered, except in exceptional cases where the Authority may have discretion to waive off the condition. |
| 19th December 2023 | Enrolled/Shortlisted students will be informed via e-mail. Shortlisting will be based on a draw of lots if more applications are received than required. |
| 21st December 2023 | Students must send a confirmation e-mail of their participation in the Internship program within 3 days of receiving the information of being shortlisted. |
| 5th to 25th January 2024 | Period of Internship |
