About Centre for Training and Research in Commercial Regulations, MNLU Mumbai

The Centre for Training and Research in Commercial Regulations was established with the view to encourage and promote discussion, training, and research in areas of Commercial Law and allied areas by bringing together academicians, professionals, legal experts, economists, regulators, judges, and students. They aim to discuss, debate & spread awareness about contemporary changes & challenges faced by different businesses in the Indian and international Market and to be able to generate literary academia where people from various forums can come together to exhibit their knowledge and expertise and serve as a platform for people from all diverse fields to share their nuances about commercial and regulatory compliance mechanisms and the nitty-gritty associated with them in the legal sphere.

The conclave has a solemn objective to appraise the law students, lawyers, Company secretaries, Resolution Professionals, law teachers, and students with an impactful insight into fostering sustainable practices and advancing global initiatives aimed at environmental, social, and economic well-being through collective expertise and multidisciplinary approach.   We encourage Professionals and students from diverse backgrounds, including commerce, management, law, economics, and the sciences, who engage with facets of sustainability to attend the conclave.

Call for Papers

Research papers exploring the multifaceted dimensions of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices across various disciplines. We invite faculties, researchers, and students from diverse fields, including but not limited to environmental studies, social sciences, governance, economics, business, and allied sciences, to contribute their insights to the ongoing discourse on sustainable practices in the corporate landscape.

An abstract of the papers to be presented with not more than 300 words should be submitted on or before 22 December 2023. After the acceptance of the abstract, the full paper should be submitted on or before 15th January 2024.

Abstract Submission

The abstract is to be submitted to our mail [email protected]. The participants are requested to submit an abstract of 350 to 500 words in Microsoft Word document, font style – (italic) Times New Roman, font size – 12, line spacing – double.

The abstract may include keywords (maximum: five). The abstract must include a clear indication of the objectives, methodology, major results, implications, and key references. All abstracts will be subject to blind review and only those abstracts approved by the reviewers will be selected to submit their complete paper for the final presentation. The criteria for evaluation by the reviewers are based on relevance, methodology and originality.

The deadline for the Abstract submission is 22nd December 2023.

Paper Guidelines

• The name of the author(s) or any other form of identification must not be mentioned in the research paper.
• Co-authorship is limited to a maximum of three authors.
• The presentation of the paper can be done by any 1 or all the co-authors.
• However, the Best Paper Presentation certificate will only go to the presenter/s.
• Word limit: 3000 – 5000 words, excluding footnotes, index, and bibliography
• Font style – Times New Roman
• Font size – 14 for headings, 12 for body, 10 for footnotes
• Line spacing – 1.5 for body, 1.0 for footnotes
• Citation style – Bluebook 20th edition
• Margins – 1 inch (i.e., 2.54 cm) on each side
• Note: speaking footnotes are allowed in the submissions but are not mandatory.
• The plagiarism limit is 10% in accordance with UGC guidelines.
• The use of artificial intelligence for submissions is strictly prohibited and highly discouraged.
• The abstracts that are selected for the final paper presentation will be provided with the final paper submission link via email – [email protected]
