About The Conference
The Conference is being organized by NLUO Center for International Trade Law (CITL). The issue of trade and the environment has been discussed for many years. Two views have been presented to us over the years. One is that an increase in trade leads to economic development and an increase in national income. This facilitates the transition to environment-friendly production and technology because we are able to pay for it. The other view is that an increase in trade results in an increase in production, transportation and consumption. This is one of the causes of climate change.
