The Centre for Research in Criminal Law and Forensic Science, established in 2017, promotes research, awareness, and critical analysis of criminal law while fostering collaboration among experts, researchers, and students. It offers a research blog, training, and advisory support to enhance law enforcement and policy implementation.
Eligibility
Students/Researchers pursuing any other undergraduate or postgraduate degree from any recognized university in the field of social science or legal studies are eligible to participate in this competition.

- Youth, Technology, and Criminal Law.
- Criminal Justice in the 21st Century: Trends and Future Directions.
Submission Guidelines
- All submissions are accepted only in the English language.
- All papers must be accompanied by an abstract not exceeding 300 words.
- The abstract must expressly include the novelty and usefulness of the idea that the author wishes to put forth and must categorically mention the specific contribution of the article beyond the existing available literature.
- Co-authorship is permitted up to two authors.
- The manuscript should not contain any references to the identity of the authors. However, authors are allowed to cite their previous published work.
- The body of the manuscript should be in Times New Roman, Font Size 12 and 1.5- line spacing, and footnotes should be in Times New Roman, Font Size 10 and single line spacing and must conform to the BLUEBOOK (21st Edition) citation style.
- Manuscripts should only use footnotes as a means of citation. No other method
- shall be permitted. GUIDELINES
- Plagiarism above 10% is strictly prohibited, and the submission shall be original, unpublished, and an outcome of the author’s own efforts.
- The word count of the papers must be between 4000-6000 words, excluding abstract and footnotes.
- Participants are required to complete their registration and submit their abstracts in Microsoft Word (.docx) format using the registration link provided in the brochure and be accompanied by the Name of Author(s), Email, Contact Details– Address and Mobile No. Institutional Affiliations (if any), Academic Qualifications, & Brief Bio.
- All abstracts shall be reviewed by a team of experts.
- Only Participants with selected abstracts shall be required to submit their final paper and payment of applicable fees.
- The selected manuscripts may be considered for publication at the discretion of the University.

- Acceptance of Abstract: 10th February 2025
- Paper Submission & Payment of Fees: 15th February 2025
- Conference Date: 7th – 8th March 2025
