About the Job

Payoneer is hiring a Corporate Legal Intern (Company Secretary Intern) to support corporate compliance and governance functions for Skuad group entities across SEA, EMEA, and LATAM regions.

The intern will assist in corporate secretarial, compliance, governance, and audit-related matters, contributing to Payoneer’s mission of enabling remote employment globally.

Responsibilities

The intern will be involved in:

  • Supporting the Group Corporate Secretary in managing group entities and international expansion
  • Providing company secretarial guidance to Boards and Directors
  • Reviewing and managing secretarial compliances under the Companies Act and applicable laws
  • Filing statutory documents and reports as mandated by law
  • Drafting and maintaining corporate records and documentation
  • Reviewing agreements to monitor shareholder and corporate obligations
  • Liaising with internal auditors, statutory auditors, and other stakeholders
  • Creating and managing data rooms for diligence processes
  • Monitoring changes in corporate laws and regulatory frameworks and taking appropriate action
  • Assisting in establishing and maintaining corporate governance practices and standards

  • Ability to work autonomously while communicating effectively with stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, influencing, and negotiation skills
  • A proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
