About the Organisation

Faculty of Law of DU is a time-tested legal institution of par excellence. It is the national hub of legal studies. Since its inception in 1924, the department has been a leader in producing many legal luminaries, Supreme Court and High Court judges, leading advocates, political leaders, policymakers, and trendsetters from all walks of life. The department is endowed with elitist alumni even though it is an egalitarian institute providing practically free legal education at a negligible cost.

Eligibility

• As Paper Presenters:
• Assistant professors including those working as guest faculty members, legal
• professionals, Ph.D. scholars who have either completed their Ph.D. degree or who are
• currently pursuing their Ph.D. research on topics relating to environmental challenges/
• sociological perspectives on the environment, environmental laws and policies. The age
• limit for such applicants who wish to apply as paper presenters is 35 years.
• As Other Participants
• Faculty members having a keen interest in the field of environmental law and Students
• pursuing LL.M. are encouraged to apply and attend the program as other
• participants.

Registration Fee

INR 300/-

The registration fee is only required if the candidate’s paper is selected for the conference. Candidates whose papers will be selected will receive a separate link via email to complete their payment.
