CLAT 2027: Consortium of NLUs Announces 2 Online Mock Tests on Nov 10 and 20 for UG and PG Aspirants
The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has announced two online mock tests for candidates who have applied for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2027. The mock tests will be conducted on November 10 and November 20, 2026, for both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) aspirants.
According to the official notification issued on November 6, 2026, the mock tests are intended to help candidates practise and assess their preparation before the actual entrance examination.

CLAT 2027 Mock Test Dates
The Consortium has scheduled the two mock tests as follows:

Both tests will be conducted online and participation is voluntary.
CLAT 2027 Mock Test Pattern
As per the official notification, the mock tests will follow these instructions:
- Duration: 2 hours
- Total Questions: 120
- Marks for Correct Answer: +1
- Negative Marking: -0.25 for each incorrect answer
- Unanswered Questions: No negative marking
- Mode: Online
The questions will be passage-based, requiring candidates to select the most accurate and comprehensive answer based on the information provided.

Candidates Can Attempt Mock Tests Multiple Times
The Consortium has clarified that candidates can retake the sample tests as many times as they wish.
After submitting an attempt, candidates will be able to review their scores and performance.
Although candidates can navigate between sections and questions, the Consortium recommends completing each mock test in a single sitting to simulate the actual examination environment.
Candidates must ensure that they have a stable internet connection before attempting the tests.
Mock Tests Will Not Determine Actual CLAT 2027 Exam Pattern
The Consortium has specifically clarified that the mock tests are provided only for practice and self-assessment.
The format, difficulty level, distribution of questions, structure and subject matter of these mock tests are indicative and do not necessarily reflect the actual CLAT 2027 examination.
The Consortium will also not entertain queries regarding incorrect answers or other issues relating to the sample papers.
CLAT 2027 Examination Date and Timing
The actual CLAT 2027 examination is scheduled for Sunday, December 6, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
