About the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law
Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, is a public law school and a National Law University located in Patiala, Punjab, India. It was established in 2006 by the Punjab Government as a university dedicated to the field of Legal Education. The first vice-chancellor of the University was Gurjit Singh.
About the RGNUL Law Review
The RGNUL Law Review is a twice-yearly refereed publication having an ISSN of 2231-4938. It focuses on current and relevant legal topics with the goal of increasing knowledge while also initiating intellectual debate and dialogue that leads to beneficial outcomes.
The Inaugural Issue was published in 2011 under the direction of the then-Vice-Chancellor Professor (Dr.) Gurjit Singh, the then-Registrar Professor (Dr.) GIS Sandhu, and Dr. Tanya Mander, the Editor. Initially, the University published it; later, the RLR cooperated with Lexis Nexis to publish it. Beginning in the year 2020.

Bajpai, Vice-Chancellor, RGNUL, the Executive Editor is Registrar, RGNUL, the Editor is Dr. Kamaljit Kaur, Associate Professor of Law and the Editorial Board consists of Dr. Sharanjit ,Associate Professor of Law , Dr.Tanya Mander, Assistant Professor of English, Dr.Renuka Soni , Assistant Professor of Law and Dr. Abhinandan Bassi, Assistant Professor of law.
The Advisory panel comprises Hon’ble Mr. Justice M.M Kumar, President of National Company Law Tribunal and Former Chief Justice Jammu and Kashmir High Court ,Hon’ble Mr. Justice Rajive Bhalla, Former Judge Punjab and Haryana High Court and Former Chairman Punjab Education Tribunal, Chandigarh Professor(Dr.)Veer Singh, Former Director (Academics) Chandigarh Judicial Academy, Chandigarh, Professor (Dr.) M.P.Singh, Former Chancellor, Central University of Haryana and Professor Emeritus, Delhi University and Professor(Dr.) Vijaya Kumar, Professor of Law, Vice-Chancellor, NLIU Bhopal.
Call for Papers
The RGNUL has successfully come out with 16 Issues since 2011.
RLR invites research papers for Volume 1 (2022).
Guidelines for Submission
- RLR follows OSCOLA citation style
- Academicians and Research Scholars contributing to the volume shall also send an undertaking that the submission is an original research work , free of any plagiarism and has not been published or accepted elsewhere
- The contributors can submit the papers by February 28, 2022.
- Papers and articles not adhering to the scheme and style prescribed for the journal shall not be considered.
- Submissions must be mailed to [email protected]
