About Legal Specs

Legal Specs is a community of law aficionados from throughout the country who believe that law should be available to everyone, as stated in the spirit of the Constitution. This community operates under the common motto “Lawyers in Making” with the goal of improving students’ awareness of careers and outreach.

We provide a wide range of legal possibilities, such as internships in various legal areas, legal courses, legal contests, and legal notes. We do not stop there; we also teach students how to flourish in many aspects and how to build their Legal Competency in this highly competitive environment.

Legal Specs Journal of Research and Legal Studies invites original, unpublished content from all academicians, authors, legal professionals, and students across the globe

Theme

It welcomes interdisciplinary research and encourages submissions that incorporate insights from fields such as sociology, psychology, economics, political science, or any stream of law.

Formatting Guidelines

  • Short Article: (1500-2000 words, including footnotes).
  • Long Article: (2000-5000 words, including footnotes).
  • Book Review: (1500-2500 words, including footnotes).
  • Case Comment: (1000-2000 words, including footnotes).
  • Font-14 for headings
  • Font-12 for body
  • Font-10 for citations
  • Font name- Times New Roman
  • Citation Style – OSCOLA 4th Edition or Bluebook 20th Edition

Publication Charges

  • Single authored chapter – Rs. 500
  • Co-Authored Chapter – Rs. 600
  • Payment is to be made only after selection.
  • Please share a screenshot of the payment once made.

Important Dates

  • Last date of submission – 15th December, 2023
  • Communication of Acceptance – Immediately (Within 48 Hours)
