About Call For Papers
The Centre for Environmental Law invites original submissions for Volume III, Issue 1 of the Journal of Centre for Environmental Law. The issue seeks contributions examining emerging legal questions, technological developments, regulatory challenges and interdisciplinary approaches to environmental governance.
Eligibility
Submissions must comply with the Journal’s requirements concerning originality, anonymity, relevance, formatting and academic integrity.

The relationship between law, technology and the environment is increasingly important as technological developments transform how environmental problems are identified, regulated and addressed.

- Research Notes: 3,000–5,000 words
- Book Reviews: 1,000–1,500 words
Word limits are exclusive of the abstract and footnotes.

- Font: Times New Roman
- Body Text: 12 pt
- Headings & Sub-headings: 14 pt
- Footnotes: Times New Roman, 10 pt
- Line Spacing: 1.5
- Margins: 1 inch on all sides
- Page Size: A4
- Alignment: Justified
- Citation Style: OSCOLA (4th Edition)
- Abstract: 250–300 words
- Keywords: 3–5 keywords placed below the abstract
- Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word (.docx) and PDF formats.
Submission Guidelines
Submissions must be original, unpublished and not simultaneously under consideration for publication elsewhere. Each submission should include an abstract of 250–300 words and 3–5 keywords. Manuscripts must be anonymised and must not contain the author’s name, institutional affiliation or other identifying information. Author details and other identifying information should be provided separately.
A similarity score of up to 15% is permissible, subject to examination of the nature and source of the similarity. AI-generated content is strictly discouraged for substantive portions of the manuscript; AI-based tools may be used only for limited language enhancement, proofreading or correction of grammatical errors. Authors remain responsible for the accuracy, originality, arguments and sources of their submissions.
