The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2022, a national-level admission exam for postgraduate Law programs, will be held on June 2022 and December 2022 by the Consortium of National Law Universities.

It means you can apply and appear two times this year.

But are you eligible for CLAT LLM Exam?

The Consortium of NLUs provides the CLAT LLM 2022 qualifying criteria for LLM programs, including :

  • Academic qualification
  • Minimum marks
  • Age limit
  • Nationality etc.

NRI Quota
You need to sit for CLAT PG Examination and apply for the specified quota like NRI/PIO/OCI, etc to which they belong at the time of filling up of form. After the declaration of the result, you can claim the seat on the basis of the ranking in your respective quota.

Minimum Aggregate Marks
50%- General/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI categories
45%- SC/ST categories

CLAT LLM Eligibility Criteria 2022:

Educational qualification, minimum marks, and nationality are some of the key factors that you should meet to be eligible for this prestigious examination.

We have given these prerequisites of eligibility criteria for the CLAT PG program-

Educational Qualification :

Candidates either pursuing their final year or should have completed LLB graduation (3-year LLB or 5-year integrated LLB) from any recognized institute by the Bar Council of India.

Qualifying exam :

All candidates must have minimum 50% marks in the qualifying exam.

However, candidates belonging to the SC and ST category will be given 5% relaxation and can apply for CLAT PG 2022 with 45% marks in graduation (qualifying exam).

Upper age limit :

There is no upper age limit.

Appearing in qualifying exam :

 Candidates who are in their final year of the qualifying exam can also apply for the CLAT PG 2022 exam.

Tie Breaker Rule:

In the case of a tie, the following procedure will be used to break the tie:
i. Higher age;
ii. Computerised draw of lots.
