About Annual Trial Advocacy Competition, 2025

The Annual Trial Advocacy Competition, 2025 is an academic initiative aimed at cultivating, enhancing, and celebrating the trial advocacy skills of law students. This competition is designed to simulate real-life criminal trial court proceedings, thereby equipping participants with practical exposure to courtroom dynamics, evidentiary procedures, and strategic argumentation. The objective is to foster a spirit of professionalism, precision, and competitiveness while nurturing the legal acumen and ethical values expected of future criminal law practitioners.

Theme

In pursuit of excellence in legal education and the advancement of practical advocacy skills, we proudly present the Annual Trial Advocacy Competition, 2025. This distinguished forum stands as a testament to the vital role of experiential learning in the formation of capable, ethical, and dynamic criminal law practitioners. Rooted in the principles of justice, integrity, and professional rigour, the competition seeks to bridge the gap between theoretical study and courtroom practice.

By simulating authentic criminal trial proceedings, this competition offers aspiring advocates a unique platform to engage with the complexities of evidentiary rules, courtroom decorum, and strategic litigation.
