Christ Academy Institute of Law (CAIL) is a prominent law school located amidst a lush green campus on Bengaluru’’s outskirts. It is affiliated with the Karnataka State Law University (KSLU). About the Conference
The Christ Academy Institute of Law, Bengaluru is organising Ad Meliora 6, International Conference on Migrants and Displaced Persons: Protection of Human Rights and Challenges on 8th and 9th of May, 2025 in Online Mode. The last date for abstract submission is 02/04/2025. Selected papers will be published in an edited book with ISBN, and the Best Paper Award carries a prize of ₹5000 and a certificate.
About Call for Papers
Abstracts are invited from academicians, practitioners, researchers, scholars and students on issues related to specified themes. The sub-themes are not exhaustive, and the researchers arefree to address any topic related to the theme. Authors of selected abstracts may make the payment once selected and will get an opportunity to present their papers at the InternationalConference. The selected papers from among those submitted before 04/04/2025 will be published in an edited volume with ISBN number. The hard copy of the book shall be sent to theauthors at an additional cost to be intimated after publication.
Best Paper Award
The best paper, out of all the papers presented shall be awarded a certificate of appreciation along with a cash prize of INR 5000/-.

Authors may submit papers on areas relevant to the central theme of the Conference. The following sub-themes are only illustrative and not exhaustive.

- Protection of the Human Rights of Migrants and Displaced People: Role of Judiciary

Students of law, academicians, practitioners
Submission Guidelines
- An abstract of 300-350 words should be uploaded on or before 2nd April 2025 using the link provided at the end of the post.
- The submissions will be judged and selected purely on the basis of merit and originality by a team of experts.
- Candidates will be informed either within a week or by 3rd April 2025, if their abstracts have been selected.
- The last date for registration for the Conference and Payment is 28th April 2025.
- The selected papers, completed in every manner as informed below, should be sent to the aforesaid email by the 28th April 2025.
- Each submission should include the following:
- It should not exceed 3,500 words, excluding footnotes.
- The font used should be Times New Roman with sizes of 12 and 10 in the main content and footnotes respectively, and line spacing of 1.5.
- The citation provided should be in the OSCOLA style.
- All abstracts and full paper submissions are to be made in Microsoft Word as well as.pdf formats.
- Permissible Plagiarism limit – 10%. AI plagiarism limit – 5%.
- The submission should be original and not simultaneously considered by any other seminar, conference, journal, chapter in a book, etc.

Publication
Selected papers, after having undergone a thorough peer review, will be published in a book with ISBN.
