7th National Tamil Moot Court Competition by SRM School of Law: Register by Oct 10

SRM School of Law, under SRM Institute of Science and Technology, is hosting the 7th National Tamil Moot Court Competition to promote legal advocacy in Tamil. The event will take place on October 23rd, 24th, and 25th, 2025 at the SRM Law School campus. Law students from across the country will participate in this prestigious event, competing in Tamil for the best legal arguments and case presentations.

Eligibility

All students enrolled in a 3-year LLB programme or a 5-year integrated LLB programme shall be eligible to participate in the SEVENTH NATIONAL LEVEL TAMIL MOOT COURT COMPETITION, 2025.

The medium of Language is TAMIL.

Maximum Number of teams per university/institution: 2

Team composition

The team composition shall be as follows: 2 Speakers & 1 Researcher. The teams may choose to participate without a Researcher but one of the speakers has to attend and write the “Researcher’s test”.

Registration

The registration fee for the Competition is INR 3,000/- (Rupees Three Thousand only). Registration fee is only payable by way of NEFT

• Winner: Trophy, Certificate of Excellence, and ₹21,000
• Runner-up: Trophy, Certificate of Excellence, and ₹15,000
• Best Speaker: Trophy, Certificate of Excellence, and ₹7,000
• Best Researcher: Trophy, Certificate of Excellence, and ₹7,000
• Best Memorial: Trophy, Certificate of Excellence, and ₹7,000
