About the 4th National Moot Court Competition

Ajeenkya D. Y. Patil University, School of Law, is elated to announce the 4th National Moot Court Competition, 2024. It is their belief that Moot Court Competitions help students develop critical thinking, persuasive speaking, and fervent advocacy skills that are essential to good legal representation.

Eligibility

• The participating team must be enrolled in a three-year law graduate programme or a five-year integrated undergraduate law program.
• There must be two speakers and one researcher or 2 speakers.
• Only one team can register from one institution.
• Students pursuing their LL.M. or Diploma courses are not eligible for participation.

Important Dates

• Release of Moot Problem and Rules – 13 February 2024
• Last date of Final Registration – 8 March 2024
• Memorial Submission – 10 March 2024
• Deadline for submission of Softcopy of the memorials – 10 March 2024
• Last date for seeking clarifications – 4 March 2024
• Release of clarification – 6 March 2024
• Date of the competition – 13 March 2024 – 15 March 2024

Registration Fees

A fee of Rs. 3000/- is payable towards registration. The registration fees must be paid via UPI or NEFT.
