About Kanoria School of Law for Women

Kanoria School of Law for Women (KSLW), established in 2018, stands as a distinguished beacon of legal education, committed to empowering women and shaping future leaders in the legal domain. The college is approved by the Bar Council of India and is affiliated to Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Law University, Jaipur and located within the Kanoria Mahila Mahavidyalaya Campus, JLN Marg, opposite the University of Rajasthan. The campus is a modern, technology-enabled learning space with fully air-conditioned classrooms, smart boards, a well-stocked law library, moot court room, legal aid clinic etc.

The college provides holistic legal education, blending academic rigor with practical experience, ensuring that students are well-prepared to meet the challenges of the dynamic legal landscape. Students are engaged in a range of activities, like moot court competitions, debates. Model United Nations (MUNs), seminars, webinars, legal aid services, theatre cum personality development workshops, book review activities and many more.

About KSLW Moot Court Club

The Moot Court Club has been functioning since the very inception of the prestigious college. It has been conducting Intra Moot Court Competitions, Moot Court Workshops and various other lectures to enhance the mooting skills of the students. The students have participated in various national and international moot court competitions and won various awards over the years.

About Fourth Moot Court Training Workshop

To continue with a purpose of refining the mooting skills we are organizing our Fourth Moot Court Training Workshop on 2nd and 3rd November, 2026 which is designed to impart overall learning about moot and mooting skills to the participants.

Mooting is the art of presenting an issue before the opposing counsel and the judge. It enables a law student to ponder complex legal issues. The workshop is being conducted with the aim of providing a platform for upcoming lawyers where they can learn mooting skills. It is critical to engage with the bench, this requires good research work along with courtroom mannerism.

Eligibility Criteria

Students pursuing a law course of 3 years / 5 years duration or LL.M. from any university / institute / college approved by the Bar Council of India are eligible to participate in the event.
