HIMCAPES College of Law stands as a center of excellence, committed to redefining legal education in Himachal Pradesh. It is BCI approved institution affiliated with the Himachal Pradesh University (HPU), Shimla. It offers B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), a five-year integrated program for foundational and specialized legal study, and LL.B. (3-Year), a comprehensive three-year course for graduates looking to enter the legal field.

About The Competition

The Moot Court Society, HIMCAPES College of Law, is organizing the 3^RD INTER LAW COLLEGE / UNIVERSITY MOOT COURT COMPETITION, 2026. After the success of the previous editions, the HIMCAPES College of Law continues this tradition with the 3^rd national level competition with greater enthusiasm, inviting participants from diverse law schools across the country to engage in rigorous legal debate.

Eligibility

• Students enrolled bona-fide in a three-year LL.B. or five-year B.A.LL.B. or its equivalent degree programmes at any college, university or institution in India recognized by the Bar Council of India (BCI) are eligible to register their teams for participation.
• More than one team from a University/College/Institution can participate. Each team is required to register individually.

Registration Fee

The Registration Fee for the competition is Rs. 5000 /- per team (inclusive of food and accommodation), which is non -refundable once paid.

• Winners: Rs. 21,000/-, Trophy & Certificate;
• Runners Up: Rs. 11,000/-, Trophy & Certificate;
• Best Speaker: Rs. 5,000/-, Trophy & Certificate;
• Best Memorial: Rs. 5,000/-, Trophy & Certificate;
• Participating Teams: Certificate of Participation to all the participants.

• Last Date for Soft Copy Registration (Registration Form and Travel & Accommodation Form): April 6, 2026
• Last Date for Submission of Soft Copy of Memorial: April 10, 2026 
• Last Date for Submission of Hard Copy of Memorial: April 16, 2026
• Inauguration, Draw of Lots, Preliminary and Quarter-Finals Rounds: April 21, 2026
• Semi Finals, Finals and Valedictory: April 22, 2026
