School of Law, NMIMS is organising a 2nd National Legal Aid Policy Convention 2025, scheduled for 22- 23 March 2025, in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India.
Competition Structure
- Preliminary Round: Written policy submissions
- Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals, and Finals: Top 8 teams to present their policies before an esteemed jury with rebuttal rounds to challenge and defend policy ideas
- Public Hearing with policymakers, legal experts, and PwDs
Eligibility
Open to all undergraduate law students (5-year and 3-year LL.B. programs) from recognized universities and colleges across India.
Registration Details
- Registration Fee: ₹700 per team
- Registration Deadline: 4th March 2025
- Policy Submission Deadline: 4th March 2025
- On-Campus Rounds: 22nd to 23rd March 2025
- Prizes: Winner – ₹21,000 + Trophy | First Runners-Up – ₹11,000 + Trophy | Best Speaker (Policy Hearing) – ₹3,000 + Trophy
